How agents get paid
This is a commission-based independent agent opportunity. Your income is based on the business you personally produce and, where applicable, your contract level and carrier compensation.
There's no salary and no hourly pay here — you're paid by the carriers on the policies you write. Your starting contract level, and how it increases as you hit production goals, is spelled out in a transparent compensation handbook.
What that can look like
Newer agent
Someone just getting started in the business.
Full-time, experienced agent
An established agent working full-time with our inbound leads.
These scenarios are examples, not promises or projections of what you will earn. They reflect full-time production on our team and a starting-level contract. New agents typically take 2–3 months to build momentum, and individual results vary based on effort, market, and consistency.
You may be a good fit if…
You don't need previous insurance experience. But you should be:
- Coachable
- Competitive
- Comfortable talking to people
- Willing to learn sales
- Self-motivated
- Consistent
- Interested in performance-based income
- Willing to obtain a life insurance license if not already licensed
This probably isn't for you if…
- You're looking for guaranteed hourly pay
- You don't want to speak with clients
- You aren't willing to be coached
- You want results without consistently putting in the work
